Sector monitoring and assessment brief

Editorial review: 30 September 2026

Scope

Separate business software, digital services and infrastructure from AI applications. Each has a different customer, operating model and evidence requirement. This brief identifies questions for an assessment, rather than a completed Iraqi market-size study.

Questions to assess

  • Which customer workflow improves, and who has purchasing authority?
  • What data, integration, security and support requirements must be verified?
  • Does the route rely on direct sales, a local delivery partner or recurring service revenue?

Evidence and limits

The 2022 internet survey provides connectivity context; it does not measure software spending, AI adoption or the size of the digital economy. Current customer research is needed.

Information needed to start

Product scope, target customers, data flows, delivery model and evidence of usage or demand.

How ABCI can support the assessment

The scope is agreed around the available evidence and the decision required. See the related service for its capabilities, deliverables and specialist coordination. Inclusion here does not claim a completed sector study, a client mandate or an available investment.
